Vicodin

I went back to the doc today and he extracted more horrible goo from my body, most of which was too painful to bear, I had to close my eyes because I almost puked seeing all of these horrible toxins coming from my body. I wasn't able to ask him whether the infection could have been caused by handling money, because he asked me if I wanted any painkiller such as Vicodin or Tylenol 3. I was like "Um .. ok", and after work I made the trip to Walgreens to pick up my small supply of Vicodin.

This is a pretty frugal medication at about ~$0.10/pill with the insurance. I have taken a couple of them tonight and am feeling better than pretty good. The recreational use of prescription medication has long intrigued me. I spent the last few hours surfing the web to see about semi-legally ordering drugs like this , but it is very expensive, most anything which can be abused is about ~$3.00/pill. That is way too much, and I can't come to close to affording that, so I'm not going to take anything unless I have a prescription and the insurance is paying. Especially since I get addicted to everything, so it would become very expensive. Imagine getting into credit card debt due to prescription drug addiction!!

I need to go back to medical center next week based on results of tissue culture, hopefully will be able to ask him to see if money made me sick or something else. Meanwhile, I'm ready to go to bed for nice long night of sleep, need to conserve the Vicodin since I have very small supply. After a week in excruciating pain I deserve to sleep well and peacefully for a night.
